UK JTI news: JTI is launching the world’s first curved pack design for its Premium cigarette brand, Camel. The innovative and unique structural pack rejuvenation will be rolled out across all Camel Blue 20s packs, and forms part of a complete range modernisation – which will also see Camel Blue 10s packs receive a new look. The new designs will be available nationally from September. Camel is the original American Blend cigarette, and the sixth biggest-selling cigarette brand in the world. Particularly popular within major cities across the UK, Camel currently sells more than 8.3 million packs every year. The Premium cigarette sector accounts for a significant 22% volume share of the UK cigarette market, and continues to provide the opportunity for premium profits. JTI continues to invest in this sector which provides a solid profit stream for retailers. Jeremy Blackburn, head of communications at JTI, says: This is a very exciting time for Camel and the Premium cigarette sect
